Qualifications
- Must have at least 5 years of Construction Estimating experience.
- Experience and proficiency in Xactimate is a must.
- Proficient knowledge of residential construction, methods, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Highly detail oriented and analytical.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Applicants must have a valid California drivers license and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand desired repairs, upgrades and changes.
- You will be responsible for accurately estimating the total costs associated with a project.
- Ensure estimates comply with the requirements of the overall construction contract and are consistent with corportate guidelines.
- Consult with architects, subcontractors, project managers, and product coordinator as needed to formulate estimates, effective cost reductions, and resolve issues.
- Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
