Estimator

Qualifications

Must have at least 5 years of Construction Estimating experience.
Experience and proficiency in Xactimate is a must.
Proficient knowledge of residential construction, methods, materials, and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Highly detail oriented and analytical.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Spreadsheets.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Applicants must have a valid California drivers license and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work with clients to understand desired repairs, upgrades and changes.
You will be responsible for accurately estimating the total costs associated with a project.
Ensure estimates comply with the requirements of the overall construction contract and are consistent with corportate guidelines.
Consult with architects, subcontractors, project managers, and product coordinator as needed to formulate estimates, effective cost reductions, and resolve issues.
Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.
